How close is Sandy Ridge to the theme parks?

Sandy Ridge is approximately a 20-minute drive from Walt Disney World’s World Drive which provides access to all of the Disney theme parks and attractions.  When navigating the area by car, the use of GPS is helpful, but is not necessary. The roads are well marked, and finding your way by following the signs is very easy.  Universal Studios, I-Drive and SeaWorld are also approximately a twenty-minute drive from Sandy Ridge.

How close is Sandy Ridge to shopping and restaurants?

Sandy Ridge is less than a 5-minute drive to groceries, banks, restaurants, pharmacy, gas, fitness and more.  Click here to get directions.

Sandy Ridge is located less than 10 minutes from Florida Route 192/ W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway which boasts hundreds of shops, pharmacies, supermarkets and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

Is Sandy Ridge safe?

Yes. Sandy Ridge is a secure community with cameras at the 2 entrances. There are security patrols 365 days per year. The area surrounding the community is also very safe. Sandy Ridge is located in Polk County which takes pride in ensuring the safety of their residents and guests.

Is there a jungle gym near the house for the kids to play?

Yes. There is a children's jungle gym located in the neighborhood great for ages up to 12.

Is there WIFI in the house?

Yes. WIFI is included in your rental fee. You will find information posted in the house regarding WIFI and the password to our secure network.

Is there a phone in the house?

Yes. You can call anywhere in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico toll free.

Do you offer baby/toddler equipment?

We have a high chair for toddlers. We also provide a selection of games, puzzles, books and kids DVDs. 

Is the house air conditioned?

The house has central heating and cooling along with ceiling fans to make your stay comfortable.

Is pool and spa heat included in the rental fee?

Pool heat is optional and an extra fee. Pool heat is $25 per day.

Will we need pool heat during our stay?

Pool heat are a personal preference. Depending on the time of year you plan on visiting, the nights may be cool and having the pool heated will ensure that the water is warm throughout the day. We have a pool cover to retain the heat during the night.

Can we add pool heat after we arrive?

If you decide during your stay that pool heat is desired, we will invoice you for the heat for the remainder of your stay and upon receipt of your payment, our property manager will turn the heater on.

How deep is the house pool?

The pool depth ranges from three to five feet deep.

What safety measures are in place for the pool?

The house is equipped with a removable safety fence that surrounds the pool. We have also installed manual door bar which can prevent a child from opening the door. Please keep your children within your view at all times.

Where is the house in relation to community jungle gym/playground?

Sandy Ridge is a walk-able community. From the house, it is a five-minute walk to the jungle gym/playground. There is parking available on the street if you prefer to drive.

How do we access the house when we arrive?

Entrance to the house is key-less.  Our guests will receive a security code to access the house. The code is unique to your stay and provides a simple and secure way to access the house and protect your valuables when you are away.

Who do we call if there is a problem during our stay?

We rely on a fantastic management company to service our house.  Our property manager spends most of the day in Sandy Ridge and is very prompt to respond should an issue arise. Contact information is posted inside the house and in your arrival package.

What do we need to do to reserve our dates?

Please contact us directly to reserve your dates. We require an initial deposit of $200/week to secure your dates and offer several different options for payment.

When inquiring about our stay how long should we expect to wait for a reply?

We are located in the Eastern Time Zone. Inquiries received between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. EST are generally responded to within an hour of receipt. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with your inquiry or specific question.
